The MB832 Drop-Down Tip Support is a lightweight, aluminum cradle that attaches directly to the barrier arm. It automatically drops to a vertical position when the arm is lowered to horizontal, providing helpful end support for longer arms.

This light-duty tip support is the ideal choice when a full MB832 Bolt-Down Cradle is not required or practical. While it effectively supports long barrier arms and prevents excessive sag or bounce, it does not offer the same level of rigidity and security as the heavier bolt-down model.

Best Applications

• Manual barrier arms over 18 feet long
• Situations where someone may occasionally sit on or place extra weight on the arm
• Installations where bolting a fixed cradle into the ground is not feasible

• Field-adjustable height — Shipped with extra-long vertical members so you can trim them on-site to match any ground elevation. Excess length is easily cut off for a clean fit.

Important Note: For maximum stability, the ability to lock the arm in the down position, or high-traffic areas, we recommend the heavier MB832 Bolt-Down Cradle instead.

The MB832 Drop-Down Tip Support works with all lengths of the Upswung MB832 manual barrier gate system and is an excellent low-cost solution for supporting arms from 18 to 32 feet.
