The MB bolt-down cradle is a heavy duty steel cradle that is vertically adjustable within a 12 inch range using locking bolts. It is used to support 18 ft  plus barrier gate arms or shorter arms in situations where arms may be subject excessive weight loads from humans. Another advantage of using a cradle is that the end of the barrier arm can be secured to the cradle saddle making both ends of the arm secure.
